It is made of heavy 9 - 11oz leather. the lining is garment weight leather. I call this my Pirate Captain Baldrick. It uses 3 inch wide leather in black, brown, or russet with a nickle plated buckle & nickle plated hardware. This hanger is comfortable and adjustable. That's right it is adjustable, it can be a left hand draw or right hand Draw. You can even adjust it to fit the sword. The frog (this is the part that holds the sword) is held in place with 2 chicago screws (this is also where you can change it to Left hand Draw or Right hand Draw). This is my peasants baldric. Don't let the low price fool you. This hanger is comfortable and adjustable. That's right it is adjustable, it can be a left hand draw or right hand Draw. You can even adjust it to fit the sword. The Cutlass in the picture (Not included) is 4 1/8” inches in circumference, and there are 5 more adjustment holes larger (adjustment holes are about 1” inches apart). The Pirate Baldric is 2 inches wide made from 7-9 once black veg-tan leather it has a 2 inch roller buckle. The frog (this is the part that holds the sword) is held in place with 2 chicago screws (this is also where you can change it to Left hand Draw or Right hand Draw). There are 7 adjustment holes for height and chest size (The model in the pics is 6' 2” 280 lbs). |

This is the soldiers baldric. I make these to carry most swords. It has 2" wide straps and a very nice roller buckle. They are fully adjustable for height and chest size. This is my Merchants Baldric. It is heavier than the two above and has decorative lines running down the outside of the straps. It is one step down from my custom baldrics. If you need it to fit a lager belt or a lager blade this can be done of a few $ more. The dimensions are over all 4” X 8”. The Hanger is decorated with three 1” nickel-plated Skulls. Show the world the trophy of the one that didn't get away. Tell the tale of how you slue this Ancient Red Dragon, and now you proudly display its hide fashioned into a hanger for the sword the slue the beast. This sword hanger is made from 7 - 8 once leather. The leather is dyed green & black. The overall size is 8 inches tall by 4 inches wide. The scales are all tooled by hand (THIS IS NOT DONE WITH A ROLLER OR A PRESS). Because this is all done by hand, the pattern of the scales will differ slightly with each one. The hanger will accommodate a scabbard up to 3 ½ inches wide & 1 ½ inches thick. The belt loops will accept a 2 ½ inch belt easily. The hanger is decorated with 2 Celtic Kell Dragon conhos. The picture shows a right hand draw, I can make it left hand draw if you would like. If you need one that will hold a dagger contact me and, I can make it smaller. |
